Red light staying on

Was doing outside chores yesterday, took my watch off when I came in to shower & I'm not sure what happened. The red light will stay on, even after restarting. I tried restarting again & the light was off, but then it shut off. It has worked perfectly fine until then. I have it in rice on case it got moisture in it, but I thought they were waterproof? I had the watch on while washing my dogs, that's it. I don't know what to do & I depend on my Fitbit for daily use.

Mine did the same thing. It got wet and red light came on on the back and is staying on which drains the battery. I can charge it but it goes down pretty fast. I’ve tried rebooting several times to no avail. The red light stays on.

My Fitbit 3 is nearly a year old.  It just started going "beserk" last week. The light is on all the time.  Mine changes color . (ha) Have you heard anything about the problem or fix?

I tried multiple times to reboot it and nothing. Support ended up telling me the warranty was up, but sent me a discount code for a new one.
