Registers 10000 falsely

For some reason my charge 3 will register and tell me I did 10000 steps when I know for a fact I did not. 
Example I’ll have 2000 steps and go for a walk of about 5000 steps . Half way through I get my notice I hit 10K and I know it’s wrong. Then when I look on the watch or the app for actual steps it will show the correct steps which is under 10K 

Anyone else have this problem?

I’m having the same problem since replacing my Charge 3 user warranty about 2 weeks ago. Today I went on a hike and two times during the hike I got the 10,000 celebration screen. Have you found any solution?
