Waiting on another replacement pod/tracker.   Original was replaced in February, bought for xmas last year.   Does the warranty restart on the new pod or is it continued from the original one?

It's continued. The replacement is covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period.

Is the original warranty for 1 or 2 years?

It depends where you are. The standard warranty is 1 year but it's 2 years in Europe.

The original watch was bought last December as a Christmas present, but this is the second time it has had to be replaced due to faulty pods Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S8 - powered by Three

Hi. Thanks for your first answer. If I had gotten another device for 50% off instead of a free

direct replacement (which, by the way did not include the wristband), would a new warranty have started (on the different device)?

Hello everyone. @heidiinvermont It's great to see you around.

Thank you very much for your question. I'd like to let you know that if you opt to accept a 50% discount and purchase a new Fitbit device, this new device will have 1 or 2 year of warranty depending on your country of residence. For more information, I recommend visiting this link: https://www.fitbit.com/global/us/legal/returns-and-warranty

On a side note, I'd like to let you know that if you report an inconvenience just with the device itself, the replacement would just be for the device and it would not include accessories.

Hi,

Can I return my dying/dead Charge 3 for refurbishment or for you to use for parts?

Also, I ordered the replacement Charge 3 from a laptop at a summer camp where I was a cook. Thanks. It arrived while I was gone. Now that I am out of the fray, I am wondering if the offer for a 50% on a different Fitbit is also still available. I was disappointed to read on the community chat that the replacement is warrantied only through the warranty of the original, which will be up in a couple of months; also, that the replacement is not a new device, so the likelihood of it failing sooner is a higher probability.

Thanks.

Hello @heidiinvermont. Nice to see you around.

Thank you very much for the detailed information. Regarding your question about returning your old Charge 3, I appreciate your patience, but we currently don't have a repair center or a place where it could be returned to be used for parts.

On a side note, I was able to see that you reached out to our Support Team a few days ago and they provided information and assistance. Since you still have questions, I recommend replying back to them or contact them one more time and please ask them if the 50% discount is still an available option. Click here to get connected.

Lastly, for more information about our warranty policy, I recommend visiting the following link: https://www.fitbit.com/global/us/legal/returns-and-warranty.

See you around.
