Is the Resting heart rate supposes to pulse like the heart rate? Mine is
just sitting there doing nothing. It gives me a rate, but it has not
changed at all in about 15 minutes despite my moving, resting, etc.

Regarding the resting heart rate information, this would not change as often as the regular heart rate data; I've often seen my resting heart rate changed only in the morning, after the sleep data has been synced. The resting heart rate refers to the heart rate measured when you’re awake, calm, comfortable, and have not recently exerted yourself. Fitbit uses your heart rate data from when you’re awake and asleep to estimate your resting heart rate. For best accuracy, it is recommended to wear your device to sleep.

Hi I have been using the Charge 3 just under a month now and checking my heart rate on app now they would be saying different resting heart rates and storing them but after a few days they would change to a different number.....example for the past 5 days my resting heart rate was 65 then they all changed to 64 then a few days after that they would go down more ? Why is this

Resting heart rate. Mine stays below 50 all day. My actual heart rate varies between about 65 and 110 - it never goes below 50. So please could you help me understand how Resting Heart Rate is calculated. Thank you

Thank you. But it is difficult to imagine how this is calculated and therefore what it means and how we can adjust our lifestyle to affect it. Can you advise on that and can you share details of the algorithms used? Thanks Peter D
