Resting heart rate

I can see on fitbit that my resting heart rate is 55 now used to be 58 a few weeks ago. But over the last month I can see that the only time I'm even close to reaching around 55in heart rate is while sleeping. During the day my heart beat is always 70+.. I checked the app and not once during the day have I been under 65.

Isn't it supposed to be resting and not sleeping rate? Is there a way to fix it? I'm using my Fitbit pretty much the whole day and always sleeping with it. Only take it off to charge and back on as soon as possible

And does this effect my calories burned that my resting is so low why my hear beat even when I'm just laying on the couch is normally 20 beats higher.

What is my resting heart rate on my Fitbit device?

In original post, I thought your point was you never got below 55 when awake, disregarding when asleep.
