I've been using my Fitbit Charge 2 for a few years now, since it first came out. But lately, the screen display is like a beacon signalling the mother ship at night, 👀 and it turns on randomly when I move. It bothers both me and my spouse, at least until we fall asleep with a square of bright blue/white light burned into our retinas.
How do I set it to be dimmer at night? Or set it to come on only if I press the button?
Any suggestions?
Thanx!

Hello @Toni-P the Charge 2 doesn't have the ability to change the screen brightness, which was implemented in the Charge 3. Here is the Charge 2 user manual, if you'd like to check it out - click. You could put one of the terry cloth sports bands for wrists over your display in case you move your wrist and it lights up.

Thank you for your response. I greatly appreciate it. Wrapping my device is a great idea.
Be well.

If you were gloves to bed to moisturize your hands, they would cover the Fitbit and the light wouldn't be as noticeable, too.
