Screen corners cracking

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
I have had my Fitbit Charge HR for about 3 months and the corners of the screen both top and bottom on the right side appear to be cracking and there is a crease on the screen. Has anyone else experienced theses issues or what can be done to stop it from cracking?

I'm having the same issues. I bought it less than 3 months ago and have 2 cracks in it. The first crack actually chipped off this morning. Have you contacted customer service? I am interested to see what they say.

Yes! Mine is just 3 months old and the corner is almost cracked off! I emailed them. Hopefully they replace it because this was definitely not something I caused. Never dropped it or hit it on anything!

Same/similar problem here! My first one cracked on the left side, a piece that eventually chipped off...I didn't get to speak to Support though as I then had an accident and broke the thing completely!

But my new one (less than a month old) now has the start of a crack inside the screen on the left side (odd that it happened in the same place, bearing in mind I wear it on my left arm, so it is very protected by my chunky arms! Smiley Very Happy). No damage has happened to it, as I am very overprotective of my gadgets!

Welcome! It's great to see you around @brittanyyydiaz and @sophiahello. Thank you for letting us know that you have already contacted Support @brittanyyydiaz, they will take good care of you! Smiley Wink

@sophiahello, if your first tracker is still under Warranty you can still contact Support. I would recommend to contact them in order to get a positive resolution for both devices.

Catch you later.

Hi Joshua, same for my wife, her three month old Charge 2 suddenly developed a vertical crack down middle of screen. I think it is a design fault caused by the screen expanding quicker than the casing when outside in hot sunshine.

She has not dropped or hit anything with the device, the casing is as good as new, just the screen damage.

Jon.

Fitbit Charge 3 users: there are no replacement parts and no repair options for a Charge 3 cracked screen! Buyer beware!
