I put my fit bit on the charger. He has been showing white lines since then. I have already tried to restart, but this has no effect.

@Annicks Hi and welcome Community forums, thanks for checking us out. This doesn't sound good. I just wanted to check are you sure you restarted the device while it was in the charger

Hi Kate,

I did the soft reset while the Fitbit was on a charger. I also did the hard reset while on the charger.

None of these seemed to help. The issue persist after preforming these steps.

The same thing has happened to me - can you help me with what I should do next? Thank you

This has just happened to me, it’s ibviously an issue with the charging units yet the charger is not being replaced just the unit. I’m very disappointed with this as it’s obviousky a hardware issue.  Will fornit keep replacing under warranty if it happens again, mine is only 3 months old and I’m not convinced this won’t japoen again, should I just get my money back?!

Mine looks exactly like this.  Happened a couple of days ago and I have tried the restart as suggested, but with no luck.

Hey @SGreaves, welcome to the Community.

If your tracker's display is corrupted, I recommend restarting it by following the instructions provided in the help article How do I restart my Fitbit device?.

Let me know the outcome. Smiley Wink

Hi There,

My screen did the same yesterday upon connecting it to the charger. I did a soft restart and a hard restart per the steps above.... my screen is still corrupted with white lines. I've only had this since December. What do I do?

I don’t know, I’ve only had my Fitbit since February. The person from Fitbit told me to restart it, but no luck so I have emailed her back and she will probably put me in touch with somebody else who can help. Try emailing her directly and see what she can do.

Bought the charge 3 in January and over the weekend while at work I notice the screen had white lines through it. I plugged it into the charge and restarted it but the problem still persists. I have photos but unable to attach

The same thing happened for me, what I did was contact Fitbit directly and got a replacement. It takes a while to actually get it sorted but it’s the best thing to do.

The exact same thing has happened to me. My Fitbit is just a couple of months old.

My eyes aren't the best in the world, and the display has become unreadable without glasses for me (ie useless when out and about).

Can someone assist, please?

Stephanie

I'm having the same issues and no change after reset. A couple times it eventually stops but I love my Fitbit and want to use it. Please help.
