I put my fit bit on the charger. He has been showing white lines since then. I have already tried to restart, but this has no effect.

Hello,

My fitbit charge 2 is also having a similar issue. I bought the device in March 2019, and it now has white streaks in the screen.

It is charging perfectly fine and I have restarted the device 3 times, but the screen still has white streaks in it.

How do I fix this?

Mine started acting funny 2 days ago. I have white lines that run vertical and then it goes black. I tried soft reset and I did a factory reset and still the same. I'm very upset. I've got pictures as proof.

Hi, My Charge 3 started doing this yesterday as well. I only purchased it in March thus year.

I've followed the reset instructions and completes a hard reset as well but nothing seems to be rectifying the display.

Please can you advise me as to next steps to take.

Thanks, Lee

Good morning, my Charge 2 has started doing the same thing.  It has squiggly white lines that run up and down and are moving.   I have tried the hard restart but it doesn't change anything.  Please tell me what else I can try.

Thank you

Unfortunately, from my experience, there is nothing else you can do. You
can contact Fitbit to see if they will replace your watch if it had been
less than a year... but if it’s been more than a yr, they won’t replace it
and only offer you a 25% discount (which is ridiculous in my opinion) I
said forget that and went to Apple Watch. Love it! Good luck!!

Just remember if given the option o a replacement watch to take the offer
up immediately.
Unfortunately I left mine until later as I had an issue with the Fitbit
weblink and forgot to complete it.
I remembered a month later (have a spare Charge 2 which is still going
strong, so replacement wasn't front of mind) and unfortunately, the link
has expired.
I'll call Fitbit soon to see if they will renew the link again.

I received my Charge 3 as a gift in June 2019. Recently, it began experiencing the same problem as everyone else in this forum (ie, white lines). I rebooted my Fitbit using the reboot option on the touch screen, rebooted it by holding the side button for 8 seconds while it is plugged into the charger, and changed clock faces, all multiple times. None of these suggestions worked. Are there other troubleshooting suggestions? If not, I would be grateful for a replacement.

also having this issue. I put it on my charger, and when I took it off the whole screen has gone soft white. I can still read it but it's obnoxious looking. What the heck? Tried wearing the battery down by not taking it on vacation with me, and I just did the soft restart and it's still experiencing the issue.
