Screen error

For the past 2 days. My fit bit has had half a grey/black line on the screen. It’s happened to me before and I don’t recall how I fixed it. And before you ask, no it’s not under warranty and I don’t want promotional prices. I’ve been they at least 8-10 since 12/17 so if this can’t be fixed, I’m either gonna go to Garmin or Apple. Once the rep finds out I don’t have insurance, they immediately want to sell me another one. I’m tired of continually buying new ones. From Google, it a lot of people have complained of the Sam exact problem but no real answers except multiple “they sold me another one for a cheaper price” - I love my Fitbit and the app but I’m at my wits end with these errors. It wouldn’t even allow me to log in online due to “Authentication failure” and it didn’t have the wrong information because I just changed my password for robertson0914mtsu@yahoo.com - I know this is fixable, I just cannot recall what procedure or action to do to fix it but I did it on my own online after calling Fitbit and they said it was an internal problem and not fixable but would give me a great deal in a new one. I ended up getting it fixed on my own and that’s the only Fitbit I really like. I have 2 other but they are watches but usually, daily, my FB would go in my right wrist with my watch on my left hand. I like that regimen. Wearing a watch on both wrists looks crazy but I have an everyday watch I wear that I spent a lot of money on. I’m not trying to lash out to anyone but it seems like I’m buying another fitbit every 3-6 months so either I have the best luck ever or they’re not made to be as durable as an Apple because I have one of those I work for a while and had zero issues. Can you help me? Are you familiar with this error and how to fix it! I’d appreciate any at this point
