Screen frozen on date, time and steps

The screen on my Fitbit Charge 2 shows "19:03, OCT 23, steps: 10,805". It's been like this sinces that day and time (that's over one week ago). When I turn on Bluetooth and sync it to the app the right data comes into my app, and it vibrates when I reach my goal or get a text/call. So everything works fine except from the showing on the screen.

I have tried restarting it by holding the button while connected to the charger, but it didn't change. I even used it till the battery was flat, but as soon as I put the Fitbit in the charger it showed the same old date, time and steps.

Any tips?

Hey @Marijor, it is great to see new faces around! I appreciate you have taken the time to fix this issue with your Charge 2 since the display is stuck on a specific date. Since the issue persists, there is something else that I'd like you to try, so please set up your Charge 2 as a new device. If you have questions about that, follow the instructions in this help article: How do I set up my Fitbit device?

Let me know if that works!

Hi,

Thanks for the replay, byr that did not work. If anything it only made things worse. I removed the Fitbit from my app and tried to set it up again. But when it said to enter the pin code showing on my Fitbit that was impossible since the screen still shows “19:03 OCT 23” .. so now I can’t connect it to the app or get the data on my Fitbit.

Do you know why my Fitbit has been hooked up to my Apple computer for battery charging since December 29 at 10:29 AM? It’s because I was delaying the inevitable pain in the you know what trying to fix it and so on this day I’m attempting to fix it. And as usual the horror is coming to reality. My wife says clock error go to the Fitbit mobile app and try another Clock. I have no idea what that means I just want my watch to tell me the date and time
