Screen on Charge 3 doesn’t work

The screen on my charge 3 will not display any data or anything at all. It is totally blank. I have tried resetting it numerous times and removing it from my phone and app to try and repair it, but I am now unable to repair it as I cannot see the code to enter on my phone. Has anyone else experienced this? I can can see live chat and support pages for customers in the USA, but nothing for customers in the U.K.?

Thank you for informing us about the issues you experienced with your Fitbit Charge 3 and for the troubleshooting steps you’ve performed.

 

In addition to the regular restart you can perform a long restart:

 

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable. 
  2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds. 
  3. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration. 
  4. The device turns off.
  5. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur. 
  6. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  7. Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.

Press and hold the button to restart your tracker:
For Charge 2—press and hold the button on your tracker for 4 seconds. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
For Charge 3—press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button.
