Mine is doing similar, but only a bit of the side missing and some lines missing in the middle too, had to change the face to see the time. I have read other posts and tried restarting long and short, short doesn't work and mine won't do a long restart. It also occasionally losses the screen completely and this sometimes fixes itself or needs a short restart to fix.
