Hello @Harshi_2002,, I'm sorry but without any details, there is a few questions I would like to ask.

When you say it isn't connecting, are you trying to set it up by only using the Fitbit App?

What type of error, if any do you receive?

Does the app find the tracker, and a 4 digit code appear on the tracker?

I assume the problem shows up after entering this code into the Fitbit app. Is this correct?

Sorry for so many questions but we need your eyes to know what is/is not happening.

Thanks for the help... I accidentally unpaired my charge 2 from the app and Bluetooth .. but my Fitbit is still working I mean it is still counting the steps etc  I tried to add it back as a new device but it didn't work it goes well till connecting but the app isn't recognizeing the watch as a new device and my watch isn't also displaying the 4 digit code I guess it is because the watch is still working it isn't restarted...

I have purchased a used fitbit charge 2 but with no charger, what do I need to do to sync with my phone?

@Blooper your going to need to purchase a charger, the Fitbit store, Amazon has both official and third party models, and stores like Best Buy and Target  make also still sell them.

As for the setup process it is no different then setting up a new one.

Be logged into your account, click on settings and press add device.

Choose the device and follow the prompts.

Thank you, I will

purchase a charger as soon as possible, was concerned that if I bought any other than an original Fitbit one, it might not sync.

The charger only charges the tracker. Unlike Apple who has been known to disable charging with third party cords, Fitbit doesn't do this.

If there is still enough power you could setup the tracker now.

It that still doesn’t work the connect the charger and while it is charging, hold down the power button until the Fitbit logo comes up then it should pick up on the new device.

Once you have unpaired the charge 2 from your phone then you need to connect the charger and hold down the power button until the Fitbit logo shows then your phone should pick up the device.

Hi did you get this resolved? I've just bought a 2nd hand Fitbit charge 2 and I've synced the device with the code and then after a short period of time it stops syncing and goes back into setup mode.

Any help would be great thanks.

The person who owned the device originally has to go into their phone and delete it. I don’t remember exactly how, but I had to go to the Verizon store and one of the techs showed me how.

The only thing the previous person should do is remove the tracker from their phones BT, this is so that if they come close to the tracker their notifications will not continue to be sent to a tracker they do not own.

This however will not keep the tracker from being setup by the new owner unless the old owner is nearby

I was having the same issues, I deleted the old fitbit from my phone's bluetooth, paired the new (used) one to my phone's bluetooth, reset the used fitbit, cleared the cache in the fitbit app, force stopped the fitbit app, restarted my phone, and then it finally found my tracker.

I have got a new Charge 4 and trying to set up my old charge 2 to another account. I have deleted the charge 2 from my account and stopped the Bluetooth pairing but when I try and pair it with a new account it doesn’t come up with the fitbit set up logo or have a four digit code. The new account holders phone recognises there is a charge 2 but the app won’t. Please help.

I have found the answer to this. IF and only if you were able to connect your 'used by someone else' fit bit tracker to you mobile device or computer, your device should ask you fot the 4 digit code. Your fit bit will give you the four digit code that you put in.After you complete this step, wait for a short period of time. It will say success or something similar. I recommend using a COMPUTER with Bluetooth. It will work best
