I have had my Charge 2 for about two years and it is just recently not holding a charge for more than a day and a half. How do I go about obtaining a new battery for the watch?

Hi @PrescottLady there is no battery replacement unless you want to try doing it yourself. It would require you to search it online, order the battery and have ability to get into the device. If you find a way, let us know in case someone else wants to give it a try.

Recently had same problem I did a soft reset and it solved it.
Attach your fit fit to dongle (charger) make sure it is charging.
Push in button with finger or use the tip of a pen. Push in for a few seconds fitbit screen will come on with
firmware number and it will vibrate. Disconnect. Usually it works after one try.
Sometimes the dongle isn't tight so just make sure it is actually charging when you push in the button.

I have the same problem, the charge says 100% but after 5 minutes it turns off. I bought it in July 2017.

this is what happened with my fitbit. first it lasted less than a day then it lost the charge withing minutes after showing it being 100%. I had some problems with resetting or restarting initially. Mainly the connection got loose so it was not in charge mode ( lines moving) . So I held the dongle in place and used my finger and then the tip of a pen for 5-10 seconds the fitbit symbol flashed and it vibrated.
This fixed the problem and now I'm getting 2-3 days.

Hi @Thx1128 the dongle isn't the same as the charger. The dongle is a little bean shaped piece that goes into the usb port and acts as a bridge from the Fitbit to the computer to send the data to the server where it's stored. The charger unit is what actually charges the Fitbit.

I have moved this post to the Charge 2 board as this situation is related to the device.
