Sleep data and score VERY inconsistent

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My boyfriend and I have worn our fitbits to bed for 3 nights now. Mine only gave me a sleep score and details for one night. The other 2 nights are very basic and not very informative, but my boyfriend received a score for each night. Why don't I get all the info too?

I'd share a screenshot, but I don't see that as an option here either...

@Noiya Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Let me help you with your sleep detection. You will need to get sleep stages in order to get the sleep score. You may not get sleep stages for the following reasons:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

You can also restart your tracker by following these instructions.

Let me know how it goes.
