I wear the charge 2 and have really had no issues with it since I bought in 2017.
Starting in the beginning of November 2018 my sleep data started showing that several days a week I was only sleeping 1-3 hours total per night. Sometimes it won't start tracking till 2 or 3 in the morning. It also only shows me getting a few hours of sleep a night. I have tried wearing the tracker on both wrists with the same results and I have tried normal sensitivity as well as sensitive.
I have also tried charging it prior to sleeping and reseting it with no change.

@Sunsetdollars @JudesNZ @Theresa56 Welcome! It's great to see you around! Sorry to hear that your sleep isn't being recorded correctly. Your device will start recording sleep after it detects an hour of inactivity. If you have a light sleep or move too much then this may difficult your sleep detection. Additionally you can try wearing your device on your non dominant hand to decrease the amount of movement it is subjected to. Finally you can restart your device. You can also manually log your sleep time. You can also read more about sleep detection here.
Let me know how it goes!

I have tried every single thing suggested with no luck. This past week it's recorded me sleeping on average less than an hour a night and 2 nights it shows no sleep at all.. I'm really getting frustrated and quite annoyed that over time my fitbit seems to be failing and it's only about a year and a half old. Seems there is no quality in anything these days.
