Two days in a row, my step count in the app and device are going the wrong direction. I watched the step count go down by 3000 steps. I have spoken with two customer service reps and no one has been able to help or act like they even know this is an issue. I am beyond frustrated and ready to return the device.

Mine too. I've reset it hundreds of times and it catches back up and then disappears again almost straight away. I hit my target Monday and Tuesday and the app is currently saying I did less than 1000 steps on both days. It's so frustrating!
This is happening to my Charge 3 right now and I was looking into getting a Charge 4. Looks like I'll be passing on the 4 and just switching brands then. Cool.

It makes me so sad I’m giving it a week then it will have to be returned as only got it for the steps etc to go against my friends 😢
So lucky my this is why I think it is strange they are saying it’s the app yet everyone I personally know it isn’t happening to yet fit bit said on Monday I got over 14000 steps but my app and fit bit said 136 at the end of the day even though it has logged my walks that day

I disconnected the device from the app, deleted and reinstalled fitbit app
and reconnected yesterday and it didn't lose any steps yesterday. That
might work for you too.
Have you disconnected from the app, deleted it and reinstalled and
connected your fitbit again? That worked for me yesterday

Best Answer@Beckiheath your removed the tracker from your Fitbit account.
So your saying that once removed and reinstalled your step count increased?
By tonight the fix should be installed on the Fitbit server.

Hi! I charged my Fitbit last night and checked the app this morning and I’ve lost over 20,000 of my overall steps. I’ve tried deleting the app and reloading, but no luck! Not sure what to do.
Me too, I lost 4000 today, really hacked off 😞 I know it's dropped because it went ballistic on my arm when I hit 17000 while I was out, and hit nearly 20000 by the end of my walk. Now it's down to 16000. NOT impressed.
