Is this an official answer from FitBit itself? To just charge the product to avoid its major flaw? Aside from over charging degrading the battery and charging ports/leads. This is just awful expert advise most likely not coming from an actual tech expert

So basically jump through hoops to use the product the correct way. You once advertised this as a good tool for Truck drivers for work. All these hoops to jump through to use it properly is not even applicable for a truck driver. It's useless

Yes and when they advertised to truck drivers as a good tool to help track fitness, they expect truck drivers to do what exactly ?

As a truck driver I've found this thing just completely useless waste of money with no real way to track anything

If you are going to judge the unit based on extra steps while driving, you need to get a $10 mechanical step counter, the kind that has a suspended weight. Every wrist based tracker on the market adds steps while driving. A few models may have a suspend function, but these are rare.

A suspend function might be rare, but not a hard thing to do. That's the whole point. They need to fix this.

True, but the user will need to unsuspend.
There use to be two third party apps that would automate the logging of driving.
