Steps not recording properly again

Once again, I walked over 12,000 steps yesterday, and the dashboard shows a total of 2638 steps for the day.  It synced yesterday at 11.28 am.   Went on a 1.5-hour walk, and no activity was recorded for the day.  Why the large discrepancies?

@SpiderGal Welcome! It's nice to have you on board!

Let me help you with your missing steps. At what time did you reach this amount of steps? Did you sync after this or only in the morning? Have you tried syncing your device again to see if the steps now show on your account? Could you share a screenshot of your account showing the steps for that day?

I look forward to your reply.

@Sugarcity It's great to have you here!

Let me help you with your Charge 2 not tracking your steps. Have you tried troubleshooting this issue? I suggest you restart your tracker by following these instructions. Remember that your device will detect the movement on your arm and translate that movement into steps. There are situations in which your arm may be still but you could be moving or walking. This may happen when you are pushing a cart or holding bars while walking or using a treadmill. For added sensitivity you can try wearing your device on your dominant hand but select that hand as non dominant on the device’s settings to make it more sensitive to movement. Also make sure your hands are moving so the device can properly track your steps.

Let me know how it goes.
