Still no text notifications on charge 2

Hello, any and all tips appreciated please! This is getting frustrating. 
I haven’t gotten text notifications for a few months now🙁 but I still get notified of calls and calendar. 
I feel like I tried everything...logged out and back in, removed device and added, turned notifications on/off, turned Bluetooth on/off, restarted my phone. I have the iPhone 7plus if that helps. Thank you!!

Let me help you with your notifications on your Charge 2 and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Start by checking that your device isn't in the Do Not Disturb mode by long pressing the button. After this you can try the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Is that a joke? We’ve all done it a million times and called. All you people do is continue to post these mindless instructions knowing they don’t work. Then when we call you say oh well since I wasted  an hour of your time making you do those steps 5 ways to Tuesday you say oh well, it’s apples fault * our features that we advertise don’t work. What is wrong with you people!
