I accidentally found stopwatch, didn’t know it was on Charge 3.  Now I can’t bring it up.  How do activate the stopwatch/Timer??

From clock face, scroll right (swipe left) to Timers; tap 'Timers' then scroll left or right to choose between 'Stopwatch' or 'Countdown'.  Tap Stopwatch, then right arrow to start.

That is exactly what I was describing.  What happens when you follow my instructions?

I have found the stopwatch on my Fitbit but how do I clear it to zero?  It began running without my knowledge. Now my entire Fitbit has changed. How do I get it back to where my clock face shows when I first tap it and then i want to be able to scroll up and down to see my stats. right now I don't have that option. Very frustrated.

When the stopwatch is running, to stop it, tap the "pause" symbol in the circle; then you can either tap the arrow to have it continue running, or, noting the little arrow at bottom of screen that means there are more screen below, scroll down (swipe up) to next screen where you will see the counter-clockwise circular arrow that resets the stopwatch to zero.  Then press the left button to back out one screen at a time to the main watch face.  Or, if it running you can get out by just continually pressing side button, but that will leave the stopwatch running.

In general the side button will back you out of anything, one screen at a time, but keep an eye on screen for prompts.
