Strava Sync

Hi - would really appreciate some help in getting my Charge 2 to consistently and reliably sync with Strava.  I've managed it only once and as far as I can tell I am repeating the same actions.  I have linked both accounts.  I ride and like to use the Strava app on my phone for routes, display etc.  I also press and hold the button on bike selection on the Charge 2, a couple of seconds between them but near enough.  Only once has my HR data successfully made it's way across to Strava.  As soon as I complete the ride I sync the Charge 2 with the phone.  Any tips or advice on how it can be done?  Appears to be some sort of dark art that I am yet to perfect!

Has your Charge 2 been recording with gps?

Hi - yes if I take the phone and don't use Strava it will record the activity then feed across, but if I record using both it wont bring across the HR data from fitbit.  Ive tried finishing the strava record well ahead of the actual activity finish then discarding the activity but still no joy.  Bit frustrating as phone is so useful to see performance in certain sections of the ride etc.
