My new charge 2 stops reading heart rate as soon as sensor comes into contact with sweat
what’s the point of a Fitbit if this is the case

@Gee123 It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! I find this happening to me when there is excessive sweat but there are some things that you can do to improve this situation. First clean your tracker's heart rate sensor with cotton and rubbing alcohol. While exercising you can try wearing a sport wristband to easily and quickly remove the sweat, this way your tracker will be able to get a good reading.

@UlrikaS Welcome! It's great to see you around! Sorry for the late response. Could you elaborate on the issue you are having with your Charge 2? When I mention a sport wristband is something besides the actual Charge 2 wristband (check the image for reference). Also check these suggestions to improve the heart rate reading on your device.
