I gave my Charge 2 to my son and deleted the device from my fitbit account. We tried several times connecting it to his account, but was unsuccessful. We reset the bluetooth, reset the fitibit, and reset the location. Still nothing. I then looked on my phones bluetooth settings and what do you know...the Charge 2 was there. I unpaired it and it connected just fine to his!

Yep it needs to be removed from your Bluetooth. A lot of people do not realize this

Hey @mjulien66, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! That is correct my friend. Specially if, like in your case, that you gave your Charge 2 to your son, since both are in the same house, it was gonna be impossible for his phone to find the Charge 2 until your unpair it from the Bluetooth of your phone. So thanks for sharing the tip. 😉
Thanks for stopping by @WendyB!
