Syncing activities to trainingpeaks

Hello,

I want to analyze all my training activities (from different devices) in trainingpeaks (https://www.trainingpeaks.com/).

I have managed to get an auto sync from fitbit to trainingpeaks via FitnessSyncer (https://www.fitnesssyncer.com).

Rides collected with gsp connected (like a bike ride) works fine and get uploaded in trainingpeaks.

Now when I fitness or tennis these actvities are not uploaded to trainingpeaks (i see the activity in fitnessSyncer). It might have not the correct (enough) data to upload towards trainingpeaks.

1. Anyone has some experience with uploading data to trainingpeaks?

2. Will there be official support from fitbit to sync all activities to trainingpeaks?

Kind Regards.

RB,

I realize that this question was from a while back but I wanted to let you know that we are currently beta testing an auto-sync of workout and body composition data from Fitbit to TrainingPeaks. At this time we are not syncing sleep or step data. If you would like to test this new feature you can connect your accounts using the link below. After connecting your accounts, new workouts and body composition measurements will automatically sync from your Fitbit account to your TrainingPeaks account.

Please send feedback on this feature to beta@trainingpeaks.com and let us know how it is going!

For wat i read on the internet fitbit doesn't support TCX or FIT files for workouts without gps information.

This is what trainingpeaks need detailed infomation timestamps with HR not only a summery file.

Will there be support to download TCX or FIT files (with detailed information) in the near future for workouts without gps information?

P.S. Moderators you may move this post to Thrid-Party Integrations (i think i should have post this there this is not specific to charge 2).

Thanks for the notice.

Last months I was syncing via FitnessSyncer that was working fine also other sports now.

Always nice to remove an extra link/application 😁.

I turned the sync on and will keep track of the uploads. If any problems occurs I will report back.

is there a way to force an activity update from FitBit to Trainingpeaks? If the activity was modified manually in the app/web, or if Traininpeaks did not sync it initially/ automatically ?

Hi @TrainingPeaks , I followed and executed the instructions on the site that you mention already a few times. When done I receive the message that my Fitbit & TrainingPeaks account are connected and activities would from then on automatically sync. Unfortunately this is not working for me. Any idea what else I can do to get it working?

Hi Eric, Right now only new activities will sync to TrainingPeaks. So after connecting your accounts do a short test workout (you just need a minute or so of GPS or HR data and you do not need to actually be moving), sync your device to Fitbit, and then a few minutes later it should show up in TrainingPeaks. If not then please submit a ticket and our support team can get some more information from you to help get you up and running. https://help.trainingpeaks.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

I understand you can’t auto sync old work outs, but is there a way to add a few manually with files (not just typing it in?).
