I get a msg saying I can't use this ver. of the software. I get an upgrade button but but nada happens when I press it. Haven't recorded activities for the last 7 or so hrs. Ran two miles in the a.m. and climbed 100+ flights of stairs. Nothing!
I deleted the app on my iphone and then downloaded it again. It synced once then but now it will not sync any more once again. This is maddening. I can not afford to buy a new one either. Mine is not that old either. 😡

Best AnswerYesterday, my FitBit was syncing just fine. Today, not at all. I use a PC and the FitBit app (with dongle) to sync. When I have trouble I bring up the FitBit app directly and can usually sync through the "Sync Now" button. Today it says "No internet connection found." Since I am sending this post from the same computer that I am using to run the FitBit app, I clearly have an internet connection.
My guess is that FitBit has been pushing out some buggy updates lately. Last week, the hourly notification that occurs if I have not done my 250 steps stopped working. Now the sync app does not seem to be able to connect to the FitBit server.
FitBit never seems to stop trying to convince me to switch to another company's product.
Best AnswerI called FitBit support and tried what they told me but no luck. First, my device would sync on iPhone 6 but not iPad. Now my iPhone installed the new IOS so the Charge 2 won;t sync anywhere. I tried the FitBit update from 2 days ago but no luck. Deleted and reinstalled FitBit app to iPad but no luck. And now the steps icon has disappeared an the device shows calories instead. If FitBit doesn't fix this, I'll have to try some other company's device and app.
DON'T BUY A NEW FITBIT! This a software problem. I think buying a new FitBit would be a WASTE OF MONEY!
