My Fitbit was only 2yrs old, if even that old. The display corrupted. Customer Service said sorry, it’s no longer under warranty. I do not want to own something that is going to stop working in less than 2 yrs., so I am not replacing it. Then I received no sleep data score for a series of days. It was clearly not working at all. I asked for a refund on my Premium subscription which was only a few months old, and they refused. Is this typical? Does Fitbit always care do little about their customers? Would love to hear from anyone who has dealt with Fitbit Customer Service.

My Charge 3 Fitbit was only 2yrs old, if even that old. The display corrupted. I saw white lines and weird shading, but no info. Customer Service said sorry, it’s no longer under warranty. I was still getting exercise and sleep data, so I continued using it, but became wary of buying another one if it was only goi g to last 2 yrs. Then I received no sleep data score for a series of days. It was clearly not working correctly at this point. I asked for a refund on my Premium subscription which was only a few months old, and they refused. Told me to go to Apple?! Is this typical? Does Fitbit always care so little about their customers? Would love to hear from anyone who has dealt with Fitbit Customer Service. Thanks.

I am not an advocate of Fitbit, in fact I have noticed that their customer service has taken a noticeable nose-dive which is a great shame, despite frequent problems with their products, they always handled my queries to my satisfaction. But my recent query has really made me question my support of the Fitbit brand.
However, the device does have a 2-year warranty, a marked improvement on the 12 month warranty most offer. In fact, Apple themselves only offer 12 months, unless you purchase Apple Care. For all their other shortcomings, I cannot agree with you on this one. It's gone wrong outside of warranty, put it down to bad luck and move on.
It sucks that it has gone wrong just outside of warranty, but they're right on this one I'm afraid.
