Terrible Quality Charge 3 Straps

Has anyone else had issues with the straps of their charge 3?  Mine is cracking and I foresee it breaking completely in a week or so.  This is the second strap that has cracked for me.  I got my original Charge 3 replaced after a month and a half cause it was defective and so I had an extra strap.  The original one ended up breaking after about 6 months and now the second one is starting to break a few months later.

 

It's not like I play contact sports or am extremely active.  I keep it on all the time with the exception of when I shower.

 

Kinda disappointed that 2 straps can't even last 18 months.strap.jpg

I have similar experience - one strap holds for about 9 to 10 months. Mine always break at the clasp.

Sad to see that this is probably common.  I think it's completely unacceptable that this would happen so easily.  We're talking about a fitness tracker that should be able to keep up with people who workout and run every day.

 

I have a Swatch Watch that I bought back in the 90s and wore it for over a decade and never had an issue and that watch cost me a third of the price of the Fitbit.  I'm sure if I was still wearing it it would probably still be fine.
