On the dashboard, neither text or email options show up as a choice to receive as a notification on my Charge 2. There is a column with a picture of a phone and one with a picture of an envelope, but no box to check to receive text or email itself. What am I doing wrong or not understanding. Thanks.

I will assist you with configuring notifications for your Charge 2. Where are you viewing these options? Remember that this needs to be done via the Fitbit app on a mobile device. You can follow these instructions to setup notifications. If the issue persist please share a screenshot of what you are seeing.
