I’m not receiving notifications for texts on my IPhone 6s. I’ve googled and tried most every remedy for this.
I’m sure it’s something silly I’ve done. It worked last night!
Any suggestions? I’ve deleted app, checked that notifications are on, Bluetooth is on......help!

And just as bizarre.....it’s resumed working! I guess I’ll never know.

I have tried everything to get my notifications to work again , no txt or call notifications are coming through. I am currently in an e mail battle with Fitbit as I see this as faulty but all they are saying is they know about you his issue and are currently trying to correct it 🤷:female_sign:

I have this same problem. Worked fine on my old phone (HTC) but not my new one (Huawei) however, I recently found that if I open the App & leave it open, I will receive the notifications on my charge2.
Even if my phone locks or sleeps, as long as the App is open, I receive the txt & call notifications. (I found this out by accident)
Hope this works for you too 😊

Hello everyone. Sorry to hear that your Charge 2 isn't getting notifications. You can try going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. Finally check for additional suggestions in the help article.
Let me know how it goes!

Hi , thank you for the help and advice , I have tried this method and every other method that has been asked of me to try to get my notifications of messages and calls to my Fitbit from my I phone but alas none of them are making my Fitbit do this again , I have gone back and forth via e mail with Fitbit support only to be told they know about the problem and working on rectifying the problem ! I think my Fitbit is faulty and I am getting no where with any so called help from the Fitbit support team , I am going to seek advice from somewhere else for advice on my rights on faulty goods and my claim for a replacement or upgrade Fitbit . I also have followed all the directions and suggestions (multiple times). I get calendar and phone alerts but not text messages. I loved the text alerts because I don't haul my phone out during class but I can peek to see if it is anything important...like from one of my kids.

Like you I have also tried everything and now resigned myself to the fact I will never receive texts and call notifications again as before. When I come to replace my charge 2 I will definitely be looking at alternative gadgets!

I am just giving up. I have done everything on these forums and followed the videos on You Tube multiple times. I wish I got the text alerts over the calendar and call alerts. Text is much more important to me. I don't answer the phone during work anyway so knowing when a call comes is of no help to me. When my Fitbit gives up I will likely looked into an Apple watch instead. If I can afford it. It is just so frustrating that the alerts were working and aren't now. GRRRRRR
