And then to change it to the relax thing or whatever you would just tap it again

I think we have to accept they won't add a timer to this watch, not now, not ever. You need to buy another product if you want to use this feature. Regarding the discussion about missing buttons or lack of ways to interact... Don't waste time, in my previous posts I explained in detail how that can be done but there is obviously no will to do that. Fact is that Fitbit company decided to abandon the development of new features for this product because they want you to buy newer products.
@Fitbit com. Please don't ask, please don't explain. I waste my time here but got the message.

No it would have the same format as the relax setting where the amount of time is under the relax text

Please just post something saying “add a timer” and maybe if anough people Like it Fitbit could actually add it and you can always just turn it off from the app

By "update", do you mean forget about our Charge 2 and spend another $150 to buy newer models?

OK, I just found a fair workaround on Charge 2, namely Interval Workout. From app's main screen:
1. Access Charge 2 device setting from menu.
2. Choose "Exercise Shortcut" setting.
3. Optionally drag "Interval Workout" from bottom to top of the list, for quicker access on device.
4. Tap on Interval Workout to customize interval settings.
5. Sync your new settings from app to device. Then you will be able to access the feature on Charge 2 using preset interval.
It's not as convenient as thought, say in the middle of exercise we have to access our phone in order to change interval. Still, this is better than nothing. Afterall Charge 2 has only one button.
Note: my Charge 2 firmware had been updated to version 22.22.58.0. I use Fitbit Android app version 3.28.

If you are a game official like me, you need to set a time to count down. Like 45 minutes for a soccer half.
