Touch Screen not working

Hello,

the touch screen on my charge 3 isnt working, it lights up to show me the home screen (time etc) when I hit the side button, but won't swipe sidewards or up/down

Fixed it.. put it on charge and hold the side button for 10 seconds a smily face will apear, take it off and should work.. mines now working

I have the clock with the date and steps showing, and a big circle around the clock that just keeps circuling. Would be chance, using that screen ? Mine locked up too, and I can't do anything until I get home. Boo. Even holding the side button alone doesn't do anything. I wanted to check the weather. Not a huge deal, but I hope this doesn't keep happening.

I have had the same frozen screen problem for days! Placed on the charger, pressed the button & up popped the smiley face. Touch screen working again. 😊

dau, I charged it and changed click but it didn’t help🙈 held side down and got smiley face but now it’s gone off completely and I can’t get it back on....am I doing something wrong??

Thank you  plugged in held finger on button - smiley face came up and now working. Delighted.

Have the same problem and just tried your suggestion, 4 times and nothing and now the button is stuck pushed in any suggestions ☹️

It’s very frustrating- I think just give it a few minutes- it did work for
me eventually- I thought my button was stuck too. Just put the charger on
and hold the button and then a smiley face appears and then it charges and
works - I think it might be key to not let charge get too low

I ended up going through all the above steps with the help guy ( live chat) when it still didn’t work he sent me a link for a new one.
They sent out a new face ( no straps ) and I started again. So far it’s perfect.
Very good service from them
Tho. Had it within a couple of days

Tried it with 96% charge. No smiley face, but instant success. All tech problems should fix so easily!

My touch screen is not working. only the home screen I can see. As suggested by other members I hold and press the side button for 8-10 sec however no smiley came up  I got a vibration and screen get lightened up. but nothing works.

Have you got it charging when you are pressing the side button. Put the charger on it, plug it in and hold your finger on the button - it definitely should work. The smiley face will come up and then it should be fine.

Hold 8t down for at least a minute
