I would like to track activities wie GPS - having a map und a true record. 

- while skitouring the downhill part is missing

 

I set my Charge 4 to use Smartphone GPS -

- but no GPS records done after --> is there a permission issue with Apple policies?  

 

the smartphone App (strava ) tracked it.

@Cortadillo , Nice to see you here. Thank you for your message and information. 

If you are using, Connected GPS with your Charge 4 please make sure that the Fitbit App on the phone is allowed to run on the background. The settings for it are mostly under Settings>Apps>Fitbit App >(Battery)

Also it's recommendable to use only one app with GPS at a time as some mobile devices do not Support 2 connections simultaneously.
