Treadmill function will not stop recording

Hi Everyone,

This morning I set up my Charge 3 to record my Treadmill exercise. When I was finished, I pressed the side button and it went to the notifications menu, then black. When I pressed the button again, it went back to the treadmill statistics. When I tapped the screen, it cycled thru all the statistics, but would not stop. I could get it to pause eventually, after several hard taps on the screen. It told me to press the side button to stop. When I did, it went back to the notifications menu. To summarize, I had to tap it several times for it to pause, but would not end the workout. I came home and did a hard re-start with the charging cable to force it to stop.

Anyone one have any suggestions. It is brand new, I just received it last week.

Normally one would tap the button once. This will bring up the pause screen. 

Now tap the button as requested and a screen with Finnish and Return should show up. 

Tap finish to end and a summary screen of the exercise should popup. 

Now tap the button again or the check mark at the bottom to exit. 

When I say tap, the Charge 3 has a touch screen and the tap only needs to be a light touch.
