Turn off goals

I noticed in the new app it has a goals under activity on the new app. Some have goals and others say set goals. How do I turn off a current goal. Since nothing else works I would like to delete the goal for Active Zone minutes goal. The notifications are annoying and inconsistent. Turning off notifications doesn't work.

All they have mentioned is a small discount for an expensive new one. Since so many are experiencing the same problem, wouldn't it make sense to fix it?? It was fine until earlier in the year, so the update needs to be fixed.
