Unable to Set Up Charge HR on iPhone

I just bought a new in-the-box Fitbit Charge HR on eBay. I like the simplicity of the older systems. I have an iPhone 8 and have the Fitbit app installed. The problem is that my phone will not detect the new device, I have restarted my phone, deleted and reinstalled the Fitbit app, and turned Bluetooth off and on. Nothing is working.

@hlpflug  Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for reporting the experience you are having while setting up your new Charge HR. Also, thanks for sharing the troubleshooting steps you have tried so far in order to sort this out. 

 

In this case, I'd recommend trying all of the troubleshooting steps shown on this helpful article. Try the steps in the order given there for best results. This should certainly help you out with this.

 

If non of that works; please contact the seller from which you got it so they can exchange it got you.
