Think I need to reboot charge 4 but I can't enter settings to do that

My fitbit Charge 4 wont pair with my computer and I am unable to get the settings up as it is blanked out on the fitbit page on my computer. I cant change my clock face to something different and I was really stressed yesterday which I should not have been

Hi everyone!

Thanks for your continued feedback and reports about this issue experienced with your Charge 4 devices. Just to confirm, may I know for how long you've had your trackers? I'm asking this as when a new tracker is recently set up in the Fitbit app, you'll need to wait until your tracker is offered to update to the latest 1.96.29 version which will allow you to navigate through your tracker's screens. If this is correct, please keep the Fitbit app running in the background  to ensure your tracker will receive the update.

@jannyd60, let me explain that the Charge 4 was optimized to work with Android and Apple devices to ensure its connectivity and the performance of its features. This means that some features or updates won't work when using a Windows device. I'd recommend to use a compatible mobile device to complete your Charge 4 set up process.

I've had my fit bit for 2 days now. I have version 20001.94.13 Chatted on line with fitbit last night and they told me it could take up to 6 days.

 have version 20001.94.13  We shouldn't have to wait for an update, it should be done automatically.  Mine has been running in the background for almost 48 hours and still nothing

It is downloaded automatically. The problem was that many people did not like to be dependent on a live Internet. Any Internet problems and the update crashed. 

Fitbit gets yelled at for not making requested changes, then gets yelled at for when they give the user what they have asked for.

It is a learning curve trying to figure out what the user wants, and not what they are demanding that they want. Which turns out to be not what they wanted. Sometimes it simply is a case of asking for an option without thinking of the consequences.

Hello JuanFitbit, the tracker freezes when I tap the Settings tile. It freezes for a few seconds, the screen goes blank and restarts. I also did a few attempts to reboot it while plugged in but the issue wasn’t solved.

I'm using an iPhone 11.

firmware version 20001.94.13

It looks like you just have to wait for the update like everyone is saying.

I had the same problem and could not get into setup either. I got my charge 4 on Monday and tried everything I could think of. Then I read in Comunity

that others were having the same problem and to wait for the Firmware to update. Today Wed the Fitbit app said the update was ready. I updated and

that took care of the problem. It looks like you have to wait for the update (48.20001.96.29) and it takes a few days

I am not able to access my Fitbit Settings app, as well. Version: 3.35 (20243544). Firmware: 48.20001.94.13. How much time I should wait for this update? I bought the Charge 4 today.

I've just updated my device successfully and now I'm able to open the Settings apps. About 2 days to wait for the update. After that time, this update appear on the mobile app with a download icon and it took around 20 min to finalize the update. Thanks!

Update? How?? Owned it almost 2 days after Charge3 a long time. So disappointed. Don't know what to do.

I'm live all the time. So, when will it update? I got it yesterday. On charger all night. Cannot access settings, and freezes. Tried reboot. Got smile, but all the same.

hi there I have worked it out. Apparently you are unable to pair to both at
the same time and so what you need to do is turn off your blue tooth on
your phone in order to use the computer and visa versa.. I also found that
you need to do all of the adjustments on the unit itself and no longer on
your phone or computer
