When there is a firmware update available for you, you will get a very obvious notice on phone app telling you how to do the update.  If you think you are not up to date on firmware, be aware firmware updates roll out slowly; it can be quite a while before it gets to everyone.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Hello @Rrutkowski

If you wish you can manually check if your Charge 3 needs a firmware update. Open your Fitbit App, tap your profile picture then scroll down to and tap Help & Support. Now scroll to the bottom of the page and tap “Check for Charge 3 Update”.

@Rrutkowski   The current firmware for the Charge 3 is v 1.88.11.  You can verify your version by tapping on your profile picture, then your Charge 3 image.  It was released in 2020.
