Needed to set up my mothers charge 3 on her new phone. Said it needed a software update so after numerous attempts it eventually started to work. It took hours and updated to maybe 70% of the loading bar and then stopped. It was charging continuously with uninterrupted wifi. I left it for hours and nothing. I have reattempted it with no success. The fitbit has a black screen and when placed on charge the same white line shows on the screen
I've read other posts and tried to delete the tracker from her app and restart with no luck as it app now wont detect the tracker at all. I've tried the manually restart the tracker and all it does is vibrate for however long I hold the button when its charging. Nothing happens when it isnt on charge.
Please note this tracker is one year old and hasnt really ever been used properly so there is no possible way it is damaged. We have already had to change it once at the store when we bought it initially as the first one was faulty.

Hi @Ahoran,
What time of day did you try to update it? During certain times of day, the Fitbit servers get busy, so I'm thinking if you tried it again at an off-time, you might have better luck. I usually do mine at night, when the Fitbit servers are free.
