I don’t know if you’ve found out but I’ve just updated my Fitbit app but there’s no SPO2 chart / reading but I haven’t gone to bed yet so hoping yes it will be there in the morning as someone said in the community that it will be around the 22nd of this month

I have everything on that needs to be on. Have done every step but still no text notification. I get notifications from other apps, just not my from my text. Guess I'll have to keep an eye out for the update. Been checking the play store for any updates, nothing so far. I have an android phone.

Like I stated I got my update last night at midnight but shouldn’t see why
you don’t have it yet unless they are doing it in stages like the full
rollout of the spo2 graph and stats which are ment to be coming at the end
of this month.

Hello everyone!

I'd like to take the chance and share some information with everyone. The red and infrared sensors on the back of your Fitbit device capture the data that you see on your estimated oxygen variation (EOV) graph. Although the sensors are components of a relative SpO2 sensor, the graph is not a relative SpO2 estimate.

Your EOV graph is located under sleep stages in the Fitbit app, or, if you’re a premium subscriber, it’s on the Restoration tab under your sleeping heart rate information. If you don’t see your EOV graph, note that:

-You must get sleep stages and wear one of the following Fitbit devices to get the EOV graph: Charge 3, Ionic, and devices in the Versa series.

-Certain customers began seeing the graph in December 2019. The feature will be available to all customers sometime in 2020.

We hope this answers some questions.

I bought a Fitbit Charge 3 and was pleased to see the spo2 graph. The very next day after updating the Fitbit app, it vanished. Is there a way to get it back?
Best Answer

Nothing here. I have the latest version of the app (Android) and sleep gets recorded.

Disappointing that it's not available to all customers, nor is there a way to find out when everyone will be able to see the info.

The way this is handled and the way the feature is rolling out is a sign of poor management and a blatant lack of respect to the millions who have stayed with fitbit throughout the rise of their competitors. Having the rollout be random with users who have little invested with fitbit getting an entire new metric while those invested with years of data and devices is a cop out to actually having a rollout strategy. And saying "sometime in 2020" is **ahem**ing backhanded, lacks integrity, lacks confidence in your own product and its features, and is the laziest way to tell people to '**ahem** off'.

Lanuza, I'm joining the hundreds, if not thousands, who would like an answer on this issue.  The recent general update rolled out in a reasonably timely manner but this update is somehow stalled.  To say that it will be available sometime in 2020 is ridiculous.  Today is the 24th January and it appears to be over a month since the first favoured users had the update available.  What about the rest of us.  Do we have to wait until the 31st December?

I had it for about a week then it disappeared

I too feel a bit disappointed as I switched from an Alta HR to a Charge 3 to get sp02 readings, and still don't have the charts although both App and Tracker are up to date... I can even see the activated infrared sensor at night. Oh and I'm not going to address the "Sometime in 2020" issue...

I had the graph (although empty) but after the latest update 1/20/2020, the entire graph disappeared. Also on Android.

Oh right ever since buying charge 3 I’ve never had it but there was an
article on Apple news in the digital spy they say Fitbit has rolled it out
to everyone because Apple have been given the ok to put sleep tracking on
there new devices

Found this site stating it has been released, not sure why mine does not function

I spoke with my mother, and her SPO2 sensor works fine, she's had the graph for at least 2 months around when she noticed it. I however have no such luck.

I have yet to see ANY SPO2 on my app. I have nothing that shows that. I am looking in the right place also. Nothing!!

In reality, the new feature has been released to very few.  I don't have it yet either.

I have the updated app now for several days now.  Still no EOV graph.  Very very disappointed.  I think us, the customer, deserve a better explanation as to what’s going on with this.  I specifically bought this watch because of the SPO2 sensor.  And had no idea it not be available.  And have kept for month because of chatter about it being available soon.  But sometime in 2020.  Come on.

Thanks for your response I contacted Fitbit support and this is what they
say to do

Your patience and desire to see things through are
appreciated beyond what you may sense, Since We launched this feature
recently, We're still working on the resolution.

Nonetheless we would like to suggest you the below troubleshooting that
could solve the situation with the SpO2 chart:

- Connect the device to the charging cable.
- While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold
the button down for 15 seconds.
- The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur:
first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
- The device turns off.
- The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations
occur. The progress bar completes. *Note*: A total of 7 short vibrations
occur.
- Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
- *Important*: Plug the device into the charging cable *again*.

Rest assured, that our higher level of support is still
working on this and we are working hand in hand with
them. We will make sure to provide answers as soon as
our team has figured this out for you.

Don't hesitate to contact us again through phone, email or chat, if
something comes along the way or if you have any inquiry. We'll be more
than happy to assist you.
