Hi @babsi_Zinne  without a smartphone to set it up, you won't be able to use the Charge 4. You have a friend who will let you set up and sync to their phone?

babbsi_Zinne,

If you have an Android or Apple tablet ( about 2/3 years old or newer should work), then look to the user manual.

I think it says it’s compatible on the box (or did with older Charge 4’s) but it does not and never will.

"REQUIREMENTS

  • To set up Fitbit Aria Air, Fitbit Charge 4, Fitbit Sense, Fitbit Versa 2, or Fitbit Versa 3, you must use a compatible iPhone, iPad, or Android phone. You can’t set up these devices on a Windows 10 device."

I'm also new.  I got mine as a gift, but my (obviously less than smart) phone was too old to use the software.  I set mine up on my sister's iPad, but it now will sync in Windows 10.

Hello @Tsonon888 and welcome.  I'm happy that you were able to set up your Charge 4.  I want to point out one thing to help you and other users who are using only Windows 10.  The Fitbit app for Windows 10 hasn't been updated since 2019.  There are several features that aren't available on the Windows 10 app.  They include Sleep Score, Health Metrics, Stress Management and certain Premium content.

A compatible phone or tablet will give you the best experience.
