Where is the auto-pause setting for Charge 3?

No matter what I do on device or web for exercises, the auto pause feature says 'You don't have any exercises in your shortcut list that can be automatically paused." on web config.  I have Run, Walk, Bike, etc all added as part of my 6 exercises.

Shouldn't Run at least have auto pause feature?  I certainly recall reading auto-pausing was a new feature of Charge 3.  The option I get for any exercise is Cues.  What happened to auto pause?

Hi @SteverinoLA. It's great to see you here in the Forums.

Thanks for letting me know the exercises added as shortcuts. I know how you're feeling, and let me help you with your question. You're right, the auto-pause is a feature included in the Charge 3, and it can be found directly on your device by doing the following:

  1. On your Charge 3, open the Exercise app > Run
  2. Tap the gear icon

, or swipe up on Charge 3.
  3. Find Auto-Pause, and change the setting to On.
  4. Press the button to return to the exercise screen.
  5. Tap on your exercise and then on the play icon to start the workout.

Give it a try and let me know the outcome! 😉

Hi @SteverinoLA. I'm glad to see you here again. I'm sorry for my delay.

Thanks for trying the steps posted above and I'm glad that worked for you. About your question, our team is aware that the option to adjust auto pause details isn't working in your fitbit.com dashboard. While they work on this function to fix it, I'd suggest to adjust the auto pause function directly on your Charge 3 device and sync with the Fitbit app to have your information updated.

By the way, I'd like to invite you to visit our Discussion Board where you can share your experiences, meet people and create new topics.

See you around.

I can turn on the auto-pause for the Run app, but what about the Biking app?  Does the setting in the Run app apply to other apps?  I need the auto-pause for biking.

Thanks,

James
