I have been running an old, but reliable Fitbit charge 2 for years. The app used to show stats for Sleep like Deep sleep, light sleep and REM sleep. These appear to have totally disappeared. All that is now showing is Awake, Restless and Asleep which is useless. How do I get back the other sleep metrics which were so useful.
Also, for some reason Health metrics data are not showing despite the tile for them being active. All they are showing is 'No data' can anyone please help with that?

I have discovered the solution which might help others in the same situation. Clearly a recent update somewhere had thrown the app settings. With settings/fitbit app you can click to App permissions and then 'Health Connect' (which was a new one on me) - if you click for the relevant permissions in that section and then I did all the normal rebooting just to be sure everything clicked back in last night and all the old metrics now show - albeit in the latest on screen formats. I've no idea what or when they all turned off, but it must be a privacy thing and somewhere something turned them all off. If you switch them back on you get all the old stuff back 🙂

@FBMum , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message.
The health metrics will show, no data as most of this is taken while you sleep.
Please make sure that you have the latest Fitbit App installed.
Verify that during sleep, the heart rate was constant and with no interruptions.
Try wearing the Charge 2 either higher/ lower , looser or tighter during your sleep.
In the meantime, please on your phone, go to settings > Apps > Fitbit App and clear the cache.
Restart your phone ( off/ on)
Restart your Tracker.
Wear your Fitbit again to register your sleep

Thank you @JuanFitbit However, following those instructions produces no option to clear the cache. I also know that all those metrics only show when I have slept wearing the fitbit. The positioning of the device has never been an issue for years. I have reset all that is possible and restarted the phone and Charge 2 device itself. It is almost as though the app has changed such that things like deep sleep and rem sleep have been removed. It is registering sleep, but only showing it as Awake, Restless and Asleep - not the more useful Rem sleep, deep sleep and light sleep, I want the last ones back, but restarting as much as possible doesn't seem to want to to show them. I think the App has changed - has it and if so can it be reversed so we can have the type of sleep back?
