Why is Fitbit Pay not available on normal models(trackers)?

Just ordered this, Im a bit annoyed already about the sneaky way Fitbit dont include fitpay on the normal models, they even show the Graphite model with the pay on the screen! - its not until you look closely you realise it is special editions only. I have had 2 fitbits previously, they are good for fitness but dont last long both breaking, will see how this one gets on

 

Would like a bit of honesty from Fitbit?

Because it requires a NFC chip which costs more to produce. Hence, the more expensive special edition models.

 

PS: What tracker do you have? You are in the Charge HR forum and that never had Fitbit Pay.
