I feel like I have to say something. My partner is almost religious about tracking exercise and sleep. charge 2. I just swapped out the hard drive in her laptop for an SSD. I cloned the old drive to the new one. Installed and booted the machine, woohoo, very much faster.!! A couple hours later, I get request for help, her app won't work, "Authorization failed." Etc. After she had spent 1/2 hour or so chasing smoke, I worked it for over an hour. reading forum entries, and seeing that people have had problems with the windows app since at least 2015. Since I just cloned the drive, I assumed it was a windows issue. I sweated over the web, installing, uninstalling, combing through the registry for fitbit entries, nothing worked. Rebooting. I went to an asus tablet, tried to install the app, and the windows store denied me! The popup never generated a download button. F%$# !! I went back to google, and now the forum entries that I was reading a couple hours ago are ACCESS DENIED!
I said, "Is it halloween or something?!?"
I googled "Did fitbit stop support for windows?"
Duh.
Wow, thanks for the head's up you guys.
My blaze just exploded under a hammer, very gratifying.
We'll be looking elsewhere for tracker upgrade.

Hi @Spideysense when you get the access denied prompt, it's because the post you were responding to has been deleted. In your case, it does seem the Windows 10 App forum area isn't there. I know it was there yesterday, but I don't see it today. Fitbit does try to keep the forums current and with the announcement that the Fitbit program for Windows was discontinued earlier in the month, they probably felt the forum area wouldn't be of any use to members.
