fitbit app won't sync"failed to sync", can't even sync in settings. No reaction when I touch "sync now"! Why is there so many issues with fitbit lately? I've done reboot of watch, I've done update of watch and I've restarted my iPhone.

This morning I went through all the trouble shooting once more—-4 days now repeating iPhone on and off, Bluetooth on and off, Fitbit restarted, Fitbit full charge—-over and over. Today I tried replacing charge 3 and “tracker” was discovered but kept showing “connecting” for 7 mins first time and 10 mins second. Next went to Bluetooth— forget device, then reset my network, signed back into WiFi and finally it synced! This should not be this difficult! Oh also I rebooted my router before I did any of above. Very frustrated.

This is my 3rd Fitbit because of upgrading and the only one I have continuous syncing issues. Time to switch companies I guess.

Someone suggested to go into Bluetooth and press forget this device. After being frustrated with it not connecting to sync off and on for two days, I tried it and it came right back connected.. so far it seems to have fixed the problem

I'm having th same issue. I noticed it stopped tracking my sleep, and the time was wrong. I've done all the trouble shooting. Once I am finally able to get it to pair and sync once it starts all over again unable to find device. This is my third fitbit. Only 5 months old. I'm so tired of having issues, I'm ready to say f*** fitbit and go with Samsung smart watch or something similar. If anyone figures out this issue let me know. Such a waste of money.

Wow! That worked for me too after 2 days (this time) of trying all FitBit's suggestions trying to get a sync. In Bluetooth I said "Forget this device" and instead of forgetting it connected. Then on the FitBit ap it said it was syncing but didn't do anything so I turned off all day sync and it did sync. Then I turned all day sync back on and it asked me to pair the two devices. I said yes and now I'm up and running.

Same here.👍. Forget this device worked for me ( so far anyway ) But fit bit is too frustrating and has too many issues ... I ordered an Apple Watch

Hope mine starts working soon. Only time it will sync is if I reboot everything, delete everything, reboot everything again, go through the set up process to add watch, after about 10 failed codes, multiple Bluetooth restarts etc it will sync the once. After that it will no longer find my watch. Even that would be workable if the darn thing would keep the proper time.

I was hoping to stick this out until Samsung has their ecg watch out. Good choice on the Apple watch, my sister switched from fitbit awhile back, not a single issue ever with her apple watch.

It's finally syncing! It didn't sync a couple more times but I just kept going into settings and fiddled with stuff in there, then did the blue tooth, etc... Let's see what happens in a couple of days when I have to charge again. Keep fingers crossed!

Still not working. Going on day 5 or 6. Let it die completely, unpaired 1000 times, reset up 1000 times. Watch is useless in this state, won't even keep correct time. 😞 I hope it works for you, fingers crossed. I'm still waiting to hear back from fitbit
