I finally fixed this issue by 1) uninstalling the app from my iphone 6; and 2)reinstalling the app and then disconnecting my charge HR and re-pairing it up. Once I went through the set up again the clock and the date appeared as the right time. Phew....10th time lucky 😉

@Dmed Welcome to our Community! You will need to sync your tracker to correct the time on it. Try restarting your tracker again but do this 3 times in a row by following these instructions:
1.- Plug your charging cable into the USB port and insert the other end into the port on the back of your 2.- Fitbit Charge HR. Your Charge HR will begin charging.
3.- Press and hold the button for 10 to 12 seconds until you see the Fitbit icon and a version number (e.g. "V30").
4.- Let go of the button.
5.- Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.
If the issue persist then please try these suggestions.

@Steen57 Welcome to our Community!
@Dmed Great to hear that your tracker is working as it should and thank you for sharing the steps you took to fix this issue.
@Steen57 This is normal and the number you see is the firmware version of the device. After this try syncing your tracker to make sure the time gets updated.

My Charge HR is also showing the wrong time / date. I have tried syncing the device but for some reason the dongle is not working so I can sync it. What can I do ??? Your help is greatly appreciated.

@BAT05 Welcome to our Community! Since you haven't synced your tracker (I guess for some time now) then your tracker lose the correct time but this will be corrected once you sync it again. Try plugging your USB dongle to a different usb port on your computer and you could also restart your computer. Also make sure you have the most recent version of the Fitbit Connect software installed. If your dongle still doesn't respond then please contact our Support Team for further assistance. If you have a compatible mobile device then you could use it to sync your device. Or if you have bluetooth on a Windows 10 or Mac computer you should be able to use it to sync your tracker with it. Remember to also try restarting your tracker following the steps in my previous post.

This post was helpful. The solution to fix the problem is an issue. Fitbit should really do something to fix this issue.

I have tried all the solutions mentioned but fitbit is still showing wrong time. Only 10 minutes slow, but it is frustrating as I use it as my watch and it's wrong. Why would it suddenly lose time? And it is possible it may lose more time, so now it's unreliable.

What if I don't have an iPhone. These solutions are all for other devices, not a desktop.
I have the same issue and it has not changed no matter what I do with plugging in and unplugging. Still two days slow.

My HR is showing the wrong time, however it is syncing correctly. I have attempted to reset it as suggested but that has not resolved the issue. The time on my phone is correct, but the time on my HR is an hour behind. If I watch the HR and the app sync, the app will say last synced an hour ago when it finishes. Something is off and I do not know what it is.
