charge 2 has stopped sync function. I e restarted bluetooth as message kept asking me and tried to force sync but nothing is sorting issue. do I have to remove my device and reinstall

Have done everything posted (restart, reinstall, etc) and still won't sync to phone/app/computer.
Last sync was at 8:46 this am and nothing since. I just wish FitBit would be upfront when something in their system breaks!
Best AnswerI just deleted the app from my phone. Then reinstalled it, and it's working now.
My husband has the ionic for a year now, every other month he's on the phone with them because of the same problem. They have to sit on the phone with him and do a system software update.
I've been lucky. Hope you get yours to sync
Best AnswerThis is a recurrent (though occasional) problem that I believe is due to something at Fitbit. My Charge 2 stops synching to my laptop which was working previously. The laptop settings show broken Bluetooth connection on Charge 2 device. In the past this problem self-corrects in 1-2 days without me doing anything differently...but after wasting much time checking all suggested actions. It's now day 3 & I'm fed up. Please FitBit, let us know when you have a problem.
