third charge HR 2 has bit the dust again!! This is a massive design flaw in my opinion as every one

separates at the junction between the wrist strap and the fitness tracker with normal use. Starts as a small separation and progresses until almost completely apart. Tried to save it with electrical tape when it started but only got an extra 1-2 months. Anyone else with same issue.  Suggestions for better tracker options to this costly annual expense. As a health care practitioner I cannot recommmend my patients

spend the money on this one

It wouldn't do any good to recommend it anyways since it has been discontinued, assuming you mean the Charge 2.

 

You can buy replacement straps inexpensively on Amazon.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Then you must be talking about the Charge HR, with no "2" involved.

There was a Charge and a Charge HR.  It is hard to keep track of the names of all the different versions.

Bands on all the versions now for sale are replaceable.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

thanks for your input , guess it is a charge HR and no possible band replacement from what I can gather on the web
